Born and raised in England, the company founder, Michael Ratcliffe, has over 30 years of experience in the design, implementation and maintenance of corporate networks. Immediately after finishing his B.Sc. (Hons) degree in Physics at the University of Birmingham in 1977, he began his career in the emerging IT business. After working for "International Computers Limited" (ICL) (a former British manufacturer of mainframe computers) he joined the German telecommunications company ECRC (one of the first Internet providers in Germany) and then Cable & Wireless, now owned by Vodafone, where he led their Global Internet Engineering Team. Due to his networking expertise, Michael is today involved with Neos Ventures as head of networking as well as with Hewlett-Packard as a network project manager.
